Bearing all the faults and figuring of the time-worn original, even close scrutiny rarely distinguishes one from the other.

Unlike real oak cladding, it is light (weighing only 25kgs in its full 6.3m length), easy to fix, (requiring no structural alterations), and unaffected by the effects of central heating (they will not crack, with expansion/contraction similar to real oak).
